| The pH Capsule Locator is a Highly Sophisticated Micro-Electronic Handheld Device, for locating the pH Capsule anywhere in the Digestive System. The pH Capsule Locator is now an integral part of the pH Diagnostic System. It works side-by-side with the Medallion Transceiver to provide the Physician with the best possible information on the pH Capsule Location within the Patient’s body. The pH Capsule Locator works like a Geiger counter. The Locator detects the Radio Frequency Transmitted by the pH Capsule. When the Locator is activated, the Medallion Transceiver, worn by the Patient, generates an Audible tone. As Locator is moved in the Direction of the activated pH Capsule, the Frequency of the Generated Tone increases. When the Locator is directly over the pH Capsule, the Annunciated Tone is continuous. This State-of-the-Art Device (pH Capsule Locator) is especially useful in determining whether the pH Capsule is in the Stomach, or in the Esophagus, during a pH Capsule Diagnostic tests. |
