All Heidelberg pH Diagnostic Systems come with a Custom Built pH Capsule holder. A Medical Grade Plastic Polymer is used in the construction of the Capsule holder. It holds the pH Capsule in proper position, during the pH Calibration Process. The Capsule holder is designed to eliminate handling, and possible contamination of the pH Capsule, and Solutions, during Calibration, and Rinsing. The pH Capsule is placed in the Capsule Holder with the Black Caps Facing out, this allows an unobstructed path for the Calibration Solutions to enter the sensing compartment of the Capsule, when it is placed in the Solutions. It also allows the removal of excess Calibration Solutions and Rinse water, without physically handling the pH Capsule.

CARE AND HANDLING

The pH Capsule Holder must be washed periodically to remove any contaminants that it may come in contact with. We recommend washing the Capsule Holder with a Soap Solution, and then thoroughly rinsing it with clean water, to remove any remaining Soap residue. The pH Capsule Holder is stored in the unmarked Test Tubes located on the Calibration test Fixture.
