LITHIUM-ION Battery Charger

Each Lithium-Ion Battery Charger contains two Battery Charging Bays. The contacts in each Battery Bay are offset to match the Battery Pack's Contacts. If the Lithium-Ion Packs are accidentally placed in the Battery Charger, in the wrong direction, they will not be damaged, or charged. There is one Yellow indicators and one Green Indicator on the front of the Battery Charger. The Yellow Indicator is the Power Supply Indicator, when power is supplied to the Charger, the Yellow Light will illuminate. The two Green indictors are the Charge Indicators. When a Discharged Battery is placed in the Charger the Green Indicator will illuminate. When the Battery is completely charged the Green Indicator will turn off, indicating that the Battery is fully charged. We have placed directional indicators on the Batteries and the Battery Charger, which indicate the correct direction for inserting the Batteries into the Charger.

CARE AND HANDLING

The Lithium-Ion Charger must be protected from incoming Power Line Surges. Each Heidelberg pH Diagnostic System comes with an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS System). The UPS Systems have 3 Nema 5-15 Receptacles with Surge Protection and Battery Backup, and 3 Nema 5-15 Receptacles with just Surge Protection. The charger must be plugged into the Surge Protected Receptacles, not the receptacles with the Battery Backup. Diagnostic Systems for International Customers include a UPS system that matches their Countries Power Distribution System requirements. Example: Australia 230 volt 50 Cycle.
